Frequently Asked Questions

DISCIPULUS FAQ

  • What is Discipulus?

Discipulus is a digital platform created to connect, equip, and grow Christian leaders through courses, events, and community spaces.
It’s a safe environment where believers live out the 7 Traits of a Discipulus Leader — intimacy with God, family faithfulness, integrity, generosity, gospel witness, servant leadership, and sacrificial living.

  • Who can join Discipulus

Membership is open to churches, ministries, and Christian leaders who share the same faith foundation and commitment to Christian maturity.
While anyone can view the public organization directory, membership access to spaces, courses, and events is by invitation or approval.

  • Why is membership selective?

Discipulus maintains selective membership to protect the community’s spiritual focus and integrity.
Selective approval ensures all members contribute positively and uphold the shared vision of developing Christlike leaders.

  • What benefits do churches and ministries get by joining?

By joining Discipulus, your church or ministry can:

    • Host courses and events to equip and inspire leaders.
    • Network and collaborate with other Christian organizations.
    • Build community spaces for continued discipleship and discussion.
    • Showcase your ministry or church in the Discipulus directory for partnership and visibility.
  • Can our ministry host events or courses on Discipulus?

Yes. Churches and ministries can host both online and in-person events or create courses for leadership and discipleship.
Event participants can be automatically enrolled in related courses or communities for follow-up discussions and mentorship.

  • How is participant approval managed?

Event and course participation is approved by the organizers or instructors.
Only approved participants gain access to the related community spaces, ensuring discussions remain safe and aligned with the platform’s vision.

  • What type of content can we host?

You can host biblical, leadership, or ministry-related content that aligns with the Christian faith and promotes spiritual maturity.
All course materials and event content remain the responsibility of the host organization or instructor.

  • Is there a cost to join or host on Discipulus?

Hosting organizations pay an annual hosting fee to manage their courses, create spaces, and host events on Discipulus.
However, they can easily recover this cost by charging reasonable course or event fees through the platform.
Of course, ministries are also welcome to offer their courses or events for free — either to Discipulus members or to participants they invite personally.

  • How do we apply to join?

    Churches or ministries may:

    • Apply directly through the Discipulus registration page.
    • Be invited by an existing member or Discipulus representative.
    • Applications are reviewed by the Discipulus Membership Board to ensure alignment with the vision and mission.
  • What happens after approval?

Once approved, you’ll receive access to:

    • Your organization’s profile and directory listing,
    • Tools to host events and courses,
    • Community spaces for leader networking and discipleship,
    • And the opportunity to participate in joint ministry initiatives
  • How is Discipulus different from other Christian networks?
